Dulaang UP

Dulaang UP is the official performing theater group of the University of the Philippines.

It is based at the UP Department of Speech and Communication and Theater Arts which runs the sole formal, theater training programme leading to an undergraduate, graduate degrees, as well as certificate course. It has taken the lead in producing plays that enhance the appreciation of literature, humanities, and the social sciences in the University. Under the Dulaan UP is the UP Playwrights Theater and the Dulaang Laboratoryo which serves as the training ground for Theater Arts students working on their thesis as well as special projects under the supervision of a faculty member.
