Slovenia | Kranj Foto Fest on “Human – Nature”
The Kranj Foto Fest is calling for photographers from around the world to apply for the Open Call for Exhibitions 2023 on the theme of HUMAN – NATURE. Winning works will be shown during Kranj Foto Fest 2023, 23 August – 23 September 2023.
The Kranj Foto Fest seeks visually powerful and thought-provoking stories that showcase the relationship between humanity and the environment. Submissions can include documentary photography, fine art photography, and any other form of contemporary photography that explores the theme in a meaningful and impactful way.
The jury will select one winner who will receive a 1,000 EUR cash prize and have a solo exhibition in Kranj, Slovenia, during Kranj Foto Fest 2023 (23 August – 23 September 2023). A shortlist of photographers will be selected for group exhibitions all around the alpine town of Kranj.
What is awarded?
Winner
- A solo exhibition at Kranj Foto Fest 2023 with all production costs covered by the festival
- 1,000 EUR prize
- Travel expenses of up to 400 EUR and lodging for 4 nights in Kranj during the Festival’s Opening Week
Shortlisted photographers
- Participation in group exhibitions at Kranj Foto Fest 2023 with all production costs covered by the festival
- Lodging for 4 nights in Kranj during the Festival’s Opening Week
