A unique event in Europe, nationales creates a space for for discovery and reflection between new cinema and contemporary art. Hosted across Paris-Berlin-Madrid, the event opens up areas of creation in contemporary audio-visual practices including film research, documentary, video art and multimedia installation.

The call for entries for the next Recontres Internationales is now open till August 31, 2012.  Any individual or organization can submit one or several proposals. The call for entries is open to film, video and multimedia proposals, without any restrictions for length or genre. Any submission is free, regardless of geographical origin. Works proposed to the "Rencontres Internationales" must not have been previously publicly shown in Paris.

The next 'Rencontres Internationales' will be held in Paris at Palais de Tokyo and Gaîté Lyrique in November 2012.
