ARThinkSouthAsia invites applications for the position of a Project Manager, based in New Delhi, India. The Fellowship programme develops potential leaders in the cultural sector of South Asia.

ARThinkSouthAsia Fellowship programme is designed to help develop skills, knowledge, networks and experience of potential leaders in the cultural sector of South Asia which include museums, the visual and performing arts and digital media. We believe that by supporting exceptional individuals to make a step-change in their skills and career potential, we can bring substantial benefit to the cultural field as a whole. The Fellowship programme currently consists of a 2-week residential training workshop, a 4-week secondment / internship and a concluding seminar.   • Plan and co-ordinate the successful planning and implementation of ARThinksouthAsia’s flagship 2-week residential workshop programme in Delhi and master class and short courses to take place in India and South Asia

  • Manage all practical arrangements for the programmes from conception to final realisation in close co-ordination with the Project Director

  • Prepare budgets, applications and study material. Handle communications, coordination of logistical arrangements, as well as liaising with vendors, partner institutions, faculty and participants


  • Prior work experience in cultural management or related fields

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in relevant fields

  • Co-ordination, planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – particularly Word and Excel

  • High level of initiative and the ability to identify problems in advance of challenges, and propose workable solutions

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English, basic knowledge of Hindi

  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work on more than one task simultaneously

  • Needs to travel when necessary

Remuneration: Negotiable – dependent on skills and experience of applicant
