M Literary Residency 2016-17

Applications open for M Literary Residency in 2016-17.  Writers of any nationality, published or unpublished, and writing in any genre in English may choose from a residency in rural setting near Bangalore, India or a city-based residency in Shanghai.

The M Literary Residencies have been established to disseminate a broader knowledge of contemporary life and writing in India and China today and to foster deeper intellectual, cultural and artistic links across individuals and communities.

The M Literary Residency Programme, fully funded by M Restaurants, grew from its Literary Festivals, as we heard from writers about what was needed to nurture and produce the best writing in this region.

Deadline: 12 June 2015
