Kiyosato Young Portfolio 2015 | photography call
Announcing the Young Portfolio 2015 call for entries from the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (K*MoPA) in Japan, which collects works by young and emerging photographers worldwide for its permanent collection.
K*MoPA invites all young photographers aged up to 35 years to submit their finest images.
Deadline for entries: 15 May 2015
Note: there is an obligatory submission fee for applicants. All submissions must be in the form of prints and all works must be shipped or delivered to the museum by the deadline date.
This invitation is not a call to a contest where pieces are judged, then ranked. Rather, it is the Museum's wish to collect works by young and emerging photographers for its permanent collection. It believes that there is no clearer signal or a more direct means of support for the young photographer than the purchase of their work for a permanent museum collection. This is why the Museum acquires work by those promise to be our future photographic visionaries.
Applicants must have been born after January 1, 1980 (i.e., must not be above 35 years of age); applications from photographers and artists who work in the medium of photography, regardless of gender, nationality or professional or amateur status, are welcome.
Period for application via the Website and for receipt of submissions April 15 - May 15, 2015
The full rules and conditions are listed on the website.
K*MoPA looks forward to receiving unique images showcasing the creativity of younger artists in the field of photography.
