India | APRE Art House grant for South Asian artists

APRE Art House in Mumbai invites submissions from South Asian artists for their Artist Grant programme for emerging artists.
APRE Art House is a contemporary art gallery based in Colaba, Mumbai, dedicated to advancing rigorous artistic practices and meaningful conversations. Founded by Prerna S.M. Jain, an alumna of Christie’s Education, New York, the gallery was formalised in 2022 as a two-level exhibition space committed to both emerging and established voices whose work engages with pressing socio-political and gender-oriented concerns.
Eligibility criteria
- This grant is open to South Asian artists between the ages of 24 and 35 years old
- Applications are welcome from artists based in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
- Applicants must not be represented by any gallery
Grant details
- Each grantee will be provided 60,000 INR
- Access to year-long mentorship
- Opportunity to participate in an exhibition
