FRUIT EXHIBITION takes place in Bologna, Italy on January 27-29 2017. Call for exhibitors to book stalls and exhibition spaces at the show featuring the best of independent artistic production, focused on publishing and graphic design and allied fields.
Open to the public, Fruit Exhibition is the only event in Italy for paper and digital publishing including artists' books, catalogs, graphic design projects, periodicals, stationary and zines.
FRUIT is a festival featuring the best of international independent artistic production with a focus on publishing and graphic design, but also including visual arts, music, publishing, multimedia etc, the only requirement for participants is to be part of independent distribution. In 2016, the fair featured 80 independent exhibitors and was attended by more then 8000 people. Fruit Exhibition takes place every year during the Arte Fiera week and focuses on design, graphic art and independent publishing.
The festival is composed of several events:
- MARKET AND BOOKSHOP of independent paper and digital publishing, graphic design projects, music contents, new types of publishing where we host almost 100 editors from all of Europe;
- TALKS, conceived to bring people closer to creative publishing and graphic design, Fruit program of talks is varied and comprehensive: interviews, conferences and presentations of new and affirmed projects;
- LABS, a 360° journey into creative publishing, from old and traditional techiniques to digital publishing and new technologies;
- SCREENING
- EXHIBITION
The fifth edition of Fruit Exhibition will introduce some new events. One of the most important new events concerns the photograph, for which we will create exhibition, conferences, workshops and a dedicated market and bookshop.
