European Emerging Bands Contest 2025

The European Emerging Bands Contest is calling for applications from European artists to perform at EYE2025 (European Youth Event) on 13 and 14 June 2025 in front of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France.

The EYE is an opportunity for 16- to 30-year-olds to inspire and get inspired, to debate directly with Members of the European Parliament and other European decision-makers, and to exchange views with experts, activists, and content creators.

This contest offers an opportunity for solo artists and bands (up to 6 members) to showcase their talent and make their voices heard. 

Eligibility

The contest is open to young musicians aged 16-30, residing in:

• EU member states
• EU candidate countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine)
• EFTA members (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)

The music must be inclusive and accessible to a wide audience, and each band member must be under 30 years old.

The prize:

• A 30-minute live performance at EYE2025 
• Travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered
• 1,000 EUR prize per band or 500 EUR per solo artist
