Distributed Design Platform’s 2023 Mobility Scheme

Distributed Design Platform Mobility Scheme is calling for applications from creatives who work at the intersection of the maker movement and digital design to attend an international activity (until April 2024).

The Distributed Design Platform Mobility Scheme is an annual rolling open-call to support Creative Talents to participate in the local activities of the Distributed Design Platform members beyond the borders of their normal place of work. It aims to provide monetary prizes to Creative Talents (500 EUR each) that assist in the creation, production, exhibition, and visibility of their work, for example at annual design weeks, exhibitions, and Maker Fairs.

Participation is open to Creative Talents that work at the intersection of the maker movement and digital design with the following guidelines:

Creative Talents are within the first 5 years of their career
The Creative Talent is based out of Europe or a participating country
The Creative Talents’ design approach must reflect some of the aspects of at least two of the four principles of distributed design: valuable, distributable, reproducible and design sensitive
