City of Chieri - Fibre Artists Awards 2019

The City of Chieri (Italy) Young Fibre contest for young artists under 35 and Open Call to textile artists (no age limit).

Città di Chieri Award is dedicated to young Fiber Artists under 35 years who, in their poetic and formal journey, express the spirit of Fibre philosophy, reinterpreted in the light of personal research.

Free participation. € purchase premium. 1,500.00 for the winning work that will become part of the "Trame d'Autore " Civic Collection .

The two calls

The City of Chieri promotes and organizes, within the 3rd edition of Tramanda, the Contest Young Fiber Contest - City of Chieri Award for artists under 35 and an Open Call addressed to artists without age limits. The two tenders are dedicated to Fiber Art, the use of textile medium in contemporary art and Mixed Media.

The works selected by a special jury will be presented as part of an exhibition at the Ilambiancheria del Vajro and in parallel venues, with addition in the bilingual general catalog (Italian-English) published by the City of Chieri.
