Cambodia | Art competition and residency

Art for Kep invites artists to submit creative works inspired by the theme ‘Transformation and New Beginnings for Kep’. 

While the theme is open to broad interpretation, artists are welcome to draw inspiration from Kep, Cambodia, as a gathering place for creativity: its coastal scenery, layered history, and the spirit of renewal in its arts and cultural life. Submissions can also be metaphorical, narrative, or deeply personal—showing how transformation and new beginnings resonate in universal or individual ways.

Eligible categories include: 

• Painting & Visual Art 
• Performance/Dance 
• Writing 
• Film/Media

Awards: 

• 500 USD plus an exhibition, presenting or publishing opportunity. 
• One artist will receive a fully supported one-month residency at Knai Bang Chatt (Kep).with a cash bonus of 1,000 USD.

Art for Kep also has artist residencies for visual artists, musicians, filmmakers, environmental artist and creatives from Cambodia and around the world.
