Bangladesh | Cultural exchange residency for Irish printmaking artists

Gallery Cosmos and Cosmos Atelier71, in association with the Honorary Consul of Ireland in Bangladesh and the Embassy of Ireland, New Delhi, are calling for applications from Irish printmaking artists to participate in a short-term residency in Dhaka, Bangladesh in autumn 2025.

This initiative aims to foster artistic collaboration and deepen cultural ties between Bangladesh and Ireland through the medium of printmaking.

As part of this exchange, the selected Irish artist will have the opportunity to engage in a workshop in Bangladesh with artists from across the country, sharing techniques, ideas, and creative perspectives. The residency, in the autumn of 2025, will culminate in a public exhibition featuring a curated selection of the Irish artist’s own works alongside standout pieces created by workshop participants. An artist talk will also be organised.
