Arte Laguna Prize 2025

Arte Laguna Prize is the contemporary art competition that welcomes and exhibits emerging artists from all over the world. It was born out of the MoCA Association’s desire to value art in all its forms, and since 2006 it has continued its mission to enhance international artists.
Finalists and winners are selected each year by a jury of experts, and the works are exhibited at the Arsenale Nord in Venice for a month.
Eligibility
The Prize is open to all, regardless of age, sex, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate by submitting a portfolio of artworks that may have been previously exhibited, giving priority to the entry of recently produced works. The theme is free. Below are the techniques admitted to the competition and the maximum dimensions to be respected:
- Painting
- Sculpture and Installation
- Photographic Art
- Video Art and Short films
- Performance and Acting (Stage and video)
- Virtual and Digital Art
- Digital Graphics and Cartoon
- Environmental / Land Art
- Urban Art and Street Art
- Art Design
Awards
There is one cash prize of 10,000 EUR.
The finalists selected by the international jury will participate in the collective exhibition that will be held in Venice, at the Arsenale Nord.
There are also Special Prizes realised in cooperation with international partners who will each choose one winner to offer new career opportunities and visibility to the participating artists. These include residencies in Italy, Germany, Australia, and China, as well as exhibitions in Spain, Switzerland, Italy and Dubai.
