London | “Reworlding Asia?” Asia Forum x Delfina Foundation
The Asia Forum and the Delfina Foundation are co-hosting the panel event “Reworlding Asia?” in London on 19 June 2023, 6.30 – 9.00pm. The event brings together curators and artists based in Europe and Asia for two rounds of conversations on the potential of exhibitions as sites for reworlding and reinvention.
The first panel explores how curatorial strategies and artistic practices may reveal and engage with multiple historical and ongoing diasporic trajectories and transversals as sites for reconfiguring relational possibilities.
The second panel will address epistemological shifts in biennial exhibition practices, dissident publication practices, utopian thresholds in languages, and literary expressions of revolutionary consciousness.
Speakers include curators from the Gwangju Biennale, Asia Art Archive, Lahore Biennale, documenta fifteen, Seoul Mediacity Biennale, as well as a selection of artists.
