Green Art Lab Alliance - GALA | New website launched

The Green Art Lab Alliance - GALA, an informal international network of art organisations contributing to environmental sustainability through their creative practice has just launched its new website. culture360.ASEF.org has been a partner of GALA since its beginnings in 2013. Through the partnership with GALA, culture360.ASEF.org has published the Creative Responses to Sustainability series with Green Guides for Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Berlin, Australia, Portugal and Spain. 

GALA acts as a ‘knowledge alliance’; strategically sharing resources, information and solidarity. It includes several partners in Europe, Asia and Latin-America. The GALA alliance connects and empowers art centres, museums, residencies, art collectives, activists and grassroots initiatives that are strongly embedded in their local communities. The network develops residencies and exchanges, regional working groups and projects such as the Future Materials Bank, a library of materials for artists that proposes sustainable, biodegradable or non-toxic alternatives.
