On June 16, in Metz, France, representatives of the cultural sector from the Lorraine region will meet with cultural organisations from Asia. This will be a great opportunity to share experiences and acquire a better knowledge of the landscape of creative industries in Asia. Participants and speakers will convene again in Luxembourg on 17-19 June to discuss with speakers from Asia and Europe on the opportunities and challenges related to the mobility of cultural practitioners. Among the shared experiences from Asia, speakers from Korean Arts Management Service (KAMS), the Radian magazine (China) and the arts portal Planting Rice (Philippines) will present. On 16 June and 18 June 2014 respectively, ASEF's Project Manager Valentina Riccardi will present ASEF’s recent supporting activities targeting the development of cultural mobility between Asia and Europe. In particular she will introduce the upcoming 3rd edition of the Mobility Funding Guides for Asia, a comprehensive e-publication on funding for the international mobility of artists and cultural operators in Asia, available online on culture360.asef.org from July 2014.
