Information resources on China and the Netherlands cultural exchange are available through the dedicated SICA website, including mapping of cultural industries sectors and contacts in the two countries.

Cultural Exchange China - The Netherlands offers a knowledge base about cultural exchange, an opportunity to share information, news and expand your network.

In early October, an expert meeting was held in Amsterdam, bringing together visiting visual arts experts from China with artists and curators from the Netherlands. Themes of the discussions included practical aspects of working in China, Chinese  national identity versus openness towards the West and the involvement of the government in setting up creative centers. Many new contacts were made and projects conceived.

Chinese authors Su Tong and Mian Mian are both currently staying as writer in residence in Amsterdam, by invitation of the Netherlands Literature Foundation together with the Amsterdam Fund for the Art and the International Institute of Asian Studies.
