Exponatec Cologne 2017 | Germany

EXPONATEC Cologne 2017, the International Trade Fair for Museums, Conservation and Heritage, will be held in Cologne, Germany, on 22-24 November. Europe’s leading communications platform of the museum, conservation and restoration segments will present valuable information, solutions proven in practice, surprising visions and international exchange of experiences. In four exhibition areas, institutions and companies from all relevant segments of the culture market will show new products, solutions and concepts revolving around exhibiting, restoration and cultural heritage and thereby provide groundbreaking impulses. In a new development this year, "Innovation City" will provide young companies with the possibility of presenting themselves and their ideas, concepts and products. Embedded in an avant garde urban scenery, companies will present themselves and direct the focus toward new ideas and currents in the scenography and exhibition industry. The goal of Innovation City is to inspire visitors with new ideas and products, to enable participants to network with other professionals and to offer them the possibility to present themselves and their innovations in the lecture area. Further to the trade fair, a varied programme of lectures, special and networking events will be held, which should be of interest to many museum and heritage professionals. • Symposium "Trompe l'oeil - Illusion and Reality", organised by several European restorer associations.
• The Denkmal Digital (digital monument) seminar organised by Europa Nostra
• Daily tea-time lectures organised by the German Museum Federation (Deutscher Museumsbund), as well as other networking activities.
