Ryllega: Experimental Gallery

RYLLEGA experimental contemporary art gallery is a non-profit art space set up by two fellow Vietnamese artists: Nguyen Minh Phuoc and Vu Huu Thuy to introduce the first kind of a professional non-profit gallery in Hanoi.

At Ryllega, artists are able to express their ideas through experimental works including installation, video and multi-media and participate in an exchange programme between local and foreign artists and between artists and the public.

Besides that it aims to introduce high quality art works by local and foreign artists to the public and possibly provide financial support for young artists to create new works.

Their aims are to:
- Create a professional place available for non-profit and free art creation.
- Initiate an art exchange between local and foreign artists, between artists and public.
- Introduce high quality art works by local and foreign artists to public.
- Financially supporting young artists when possible

RYLLEGAL gallery operation started from March 1, 2004 at 1A Trang Tien Street with total area of 4.5m×9.5m and exhibiting area of 4.5m×7.5m.
