Association Of Slovenian Filmmakers (DSFU)

The Association of Slovenian Filmmakers was founded in the year 1950. The association is a member of the Chamber of Culture of Slovenia and has a status of an expert association working in the public interest. Directly or indirectly, through its representatives, it works in the administrative authorities of the film fund of the republic of Slovenia, the RTVS public institution, Slovenian Cinematheque, VIBA film, the Glosa syndicate, and its members work in various commissions, forums, juries, etc. The association is the founder of the former VIBA film, the Slovenian film museum (now with the Slovenian Cinematheque) and the week of the national film (now the festival of Slovenian film).
