Sweden | Music and sound residency for Czech or Czech Republic-based artists
The Arts Institute - Theatre Institute (IDU) in cooperation with the Inkonst Malmö, Czech Centres/Czech Centre Stockholm and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic is calling for applications from Czech or Czech-based artists for a three-week creative residency in the field of music and artists working in the borderland between art, sound art and experimental club culture, which will take place between 1 October and 15 December 2024 at the Inkonst art centre in Malmö, Sweden.
The creative residency will take place at the art centre Inkonst in Malmö, Sweden, that has a recording studio equipped with a Genelec listening system and Erica Synths modular system that will be available to the artist 24/7 and a technician upon previous request.
The artist will be accommodated in a serviced apartment in the same block as Inkonst and the studio. This is in the heart of Malmö, the third biggest city in Sweden with all the amenities being within walking distance.
Support
The resident will receive an allowance of 60 EUR/each day of residency (without traveling days) as well as up to 300 EUR for travel expenses.
