Saison Foundation | Visiting Fellows 2018 call

Open call for Saison Artist in Residence - Visiting Fellows 2018. This program aims to build up an international network for contemporary performing arts and to enhance mutual understanding, and gives opportunities for artists and arts managers to research the contemporary performing arts scene in Japan. The program supports research visits to Japan for those who are expected to play an important role in the international performing arts scene. 

Applications for these Research Residencies in Japan may be made by individual artists and arts managers in contemporary theatre and dance based outside Japan and who are aged under 45. Two artists and one arts manager will be selected for the 2018 Visiting Fellows programme.

Timeframe for Visiting Fellows 2018: 

• From August 20 to November 17, 2018
• From December 1 to December 28, 2018
• From January 4 to March 15, 2019

Duration: more than 20 days up to 35 days.

Deadline for requesting the application form: Thursday, July 12, 2018

A request must be made by the deadline for the application form and the full application package must be submitted within one week (deadline: 19 July)
