Mobile Week Barcelona - call for proposals

Mobile Week Barcelona looks for artistic creations that invite reflection on the impact of digital transformation on The Future of Today

What will our daily life be like in the coming years? And our city? Can a machine feel more than a human mind? Will we live 140 years? ...

Unavoidable questions in a technological world in which our society welcome new technologies at an accelerated pace. Art becomes a vehicle to raise the new scenarios of our Day-to-day Future; a concept that reminds us that technology is just a tool and is the person who exercises its influence and decision power.

Participants must submit a conceptual artistic proposal inspired by digital transformation, providing all the information in the registration form available until December 4, 2017.

Each of the ten (10) winning participants will receive a prize consisting in a total of ONE THOUSAND EUROS (€1,000).

Each of the ten (10) winning participants will receive a reimbursement of up to FOUR HUNDRED EUROS (€400) for expenses on materials used to make the submitted artwork. All related expenses must be justified via purchase receipts.

MOBILE WEEK BARCELONA, an event by Mobile World Capital, will take place between 17 and 24 February, 2018 and proposes a space for open reflection on the digital transformation that connects the entire city through art, science and technology.
