The Arts Council Korea (ARKO) is calling for applications from artists, producers, and engineers under the age of 39 from diverse fields worldwide to participate in APE CAMP, 12–16 June 2026 in South Korea.

This programme is designed to nurture creative talent and activate sustainable networks for art and technology convergence. Through the CAMP, participants will have the opportunity to develop new ideas and build new networks.

The selected participants, known as ‘Campers’, will convene in Seoul and be randomly grouped into 24 teams. Each team will comprise individuals from various nationalities and disciplines, including artists, producers, and engineers. Together, they will refine collaborative concepts into feasible projects and present their final outcomes to their fellow participants.

The programme will be welcoming 120 creative talents from across the globe. Campers will have the opportunity to meet leading global experts working across art and technology. Some teams will be selected to develop experimental activities or production and realisation.

Eligibility

For Artists & Producers: Applicants engaging in any artistic discipline, including Creative Writing & Literature, Visual arts, Theater, Musical, Dance, Music, Traditional Arts, Multidisciplinary Arts etc, are welcome to apply. They should have creative experience or have planned activities related to arts and technology. 

For Engineers: Individuals who are proficient in the field of stage technologies, emerging technologies, core sciences, applied engineering and others relevant to arts and technology projects are eligible.

Support

  • Partial support for round-trip airfare
  • Accommodation during the CAMP (2 campers per room)
  • Meals during the CAMP
