Korea | 2026 Residency on Art and Technology
The National Asian Culture Center (ACC) CREATORS Residency is calling for applications from CREATORS (including artists, researchers, designers, architects, and engineers).
A total of 8 teams will be selected (individuals or teams, up to 2 members per team) for a residency from 27 June to 30 November 2026. The final exhibition will be from 20 to 29 November 2026.
The residency aims to establish a sustainable creative production platform through the convergence of art and technology. The programme provides opportunities for CREATORS to engage in research, development, production, and exhibition of their multidisciplinary projects.
As technological systems advance in the intelligence age, their impact extends beyond the individual, fundamentally reconfiguring collective experience, interaction, and relationality. AI increasingly replaces lived experience with data, giving rise to environments no longer anchored in physical space or stable identities. The ACC CREATORS 2026 Residency asks how the notion of ‘community’ might be reimagined amid these transformations.
