Flash Europa 28 will showcase European flash fiction and offer free, original, creative and quality content to the Chinese online reader. Young authors (aged up to 28 years) from EU countries are invited to submit short stories (under 500 words) now!!

The Delegation of the European Union to China, in association with the Bookworm, a China-based literary organization, is proud to announce the launch of Flash Europa 28, a project to bring creative short fiction from all 28 EU member states to the interested Chinese reader.

Stories of 500 words or less, with works clearly set in 28 different nations written by young European writers of 28 years and under will be selected for distribution to Chinese readers.

Flash Europa will distribute European flash fiction written by young authors from each of the 28 member states of the European Union. Through national competitions five submissions will be selected from each country, translated into Chinese and distributed free of charge, over a period of 28 weeks to Chinese audiences via multiple social media platforms.

Writers should submit works now through their national competition.
