Spain | New Asian cinema programme

Until 10 February 2024, Casa Asia presents 8 films of daily life from Central Asia, South Asia and Southeast Asia, including from Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India, Malaysia and the Philippines. The films are screened weekly in Barcelona. 

The eight titles unite cultures and peoples through the moving image, without intending to undermine their cultural identity. All the films that have been produced between 2022 and 2023, shining the light on recent cinema from the region.

• The Baseball Player (The Philippines, 2022), 20 January 
• Madaari (Pakistan, 2023), 3 February 
• Goliath (Kazakhstan, 2022), 10 February
