Novembre Numérique 2019

Novembre Numérique, the international festival of digital cultures, is organized by the Institut français and the French cultural network abroad, on all five continents.

Every year in November, digital creation is highlighted everywhere in the world, through various projects ranging from day-long events to month-long initiatives.

Novembre Numérique has become a yearly international gathering around digital cultures and this year it will include events in more than forty countries, on all five contents, These events will take place in the institutions of the French cultural network, inside media libraries, movie theatres and exhibition venues. Novembre Numérique is also hosted by local institutions partnering with the French cultural network abroad, and it is also frequently linked with local festivals.

With this third international edition, in November 2019 the Institut français and the French cultural network abroad will showcase all forms of digital creation - video games, immersive realities, digital art, sound spatialization, digital literacy, digital humanities, etc. - across its many expressions : performing arts, exchange of ideas, art installations, linguistic workshops, movies, professional meetings, etc.
