Locarno Film Festival 2021 | Open Doors focus on Southeast Asia and Mongolia
Locarno Film Festival 2021 presents Open Doors film screenings. From 2019 to 2021, the Open Doors Screenings section explores the diverse filmmaking of South East Asia and Mongolia. In 2021, it showcases a selection of features and shorts from the entire region.
Open Doors Screenings is a non-competitive section, focusing in 2021 on a selection of films from the cinematographic and cultural universe of the following countries: Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Mongolia.
Open Doors is organized with the collaboration of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and from 2019 to 2021 is exploring Southeast Asia and Mongolia.
