KIKK Festival 2021 | Digital and creative cultures meet in Namur, Belgium

KIKK Festival, an international event of digital and creative cultures, will hold its 10th edition in Namur, Belgium from 4 to 7 November. The festival focuses on the artistic and economic implications of new technologies. Through conferences, masterclasses and workshops, it offers an immersion in the digital world. Each year, it renews itself and moves up a gear, offering a program that is increasingly relevant and in line with current issues. Marie du Chastel, its curator, chooses the guests as much for their expertise as for the interest of the questions they address. More than 40 speakers from all backgrounds are scheduled to address a wide variety of topics. Here is a selection for you.

Among the guests, this year, you will find :

Aiganysh Aidarbekova from Bellingcat, an investigative journalism website whose mission is to restore the truth in a world of fake news using open source tools.

Jer Thorp, Data artist in residence at the New York Times and author of the book " Living in Data : A Citizen Guide to a Better Information Future " will share some of his insights.

Tina Touli, a superstar in the world of graphic design will show the range of possibilities once you mix the digital and the physical world and don't limit your work to your computer and the beaten path.
