China | 11th Jimei x Arles 2025 International Photo Festival
The 11th Jimei × Arles International Photo Festival will run in Xiamen from November 29, 2025, to January 4, 2026.
As Asia's leading annual photography event, it is the only Chinese festival with a long-term partnership with the world-renowned Rencontres d'Arles. Since its 2015 inception in Jimei District, Xiamen, the festival has showcased cutting-edge global photography, supported Chinese artists, and elevated their work internationally. Over the past decade, it has presented 300+ exhibitions, over 700 artists, 800+ public events, and attracted more than 550,000 visitors.
This year, Jimei × Arles will feature more than 25 exhibitions from China, Brazil, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, Mexico, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Highlights include six exhibitions selected from Les Rencontres d'Arles 2025, eight proposals in the Jimei × Arles Discovery Award section, a group show titled Collector's Tale, the Crossover Photography project, two China Pulse exhibitions, the Greetings from Hong Kong section, and a special presentation marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union.
