Japan | Yokohama International Performing Arts Meeting 2025

YPAM (Yokohama International Performing Arts Meeting) will be held from 28 November to 14 December 2025 in Yokohama, Japan.

YPAM is a platform where performing arts professionals from various places of the world exchange through performance and meeting programmes to gain information, inspiration and network for the creation, dissemination and vitalisation of the performing arts. Established in 1995 as TPAM (Tokyo Performing Arts Market) and moved in 2011 to the ‘Creative City’ Yokohama. Having survived for more than 25 years, it has become one of the most influential performing arts platforms in Asia.

As part of the the meeting there is YPAM Fringe, an open-call performing arts festival held during YPAM. The previous edition, in December 2024, featured 50 artists and companies who presented 202 performances and attracted a total audience of over 6,000. The festival welcomes artists and companies with a wide range of goals, from connecting with international professionals and reaching new audiences beyond their usual demographics, to establishing a presence in Yokohama and raising awareness of their work among local audiences.

There is also YPAM Exchange, an international networking programme that brings together professionals from the performing arts community across the globe. Central to the programme is the Meeting Point, where participants engage in a series of curated events such as symposia, thematic discussions, and open call meetings. The programme also features receptions and extends into the evening with parties and the Late Night Meeting Point, creating opportunities for ongoing exchange and relationship-building.
