ICOM Conference 2011: Creating International Exhibitions

“Go international! The challenge of Creating International Exhibitions”
ICEE, the International Committee on Exhibitions and Exchanges, builds bridges within the community of Exhibitions and Museums. The next annual conference will take place at the Deutsches Historishes Museum in Berlin from the 23rd to the 26th of October 2011 on the topic of “Go international! The challenge of Creating International Exhibitions”
During this inspiring meeting, new challenges in exhibition development within a global context will be discussed. A closer look will also be taken at new museum concepts in Berlin, including the Neues Museum, the Museumsinsel, the Humboldt-Forum and other exciting venues. Further the networks's traditional “Marketplace of exhibitions and ideas” will be a  highlight of the meeting as well as the touring day in museums and exhibitions.
