Green Art Lab Alliance (GALA) Asia public launch The Green Art Lab Alliance (GALA) ASIA is an international network of cultural organisations engaging with environmental issues with a focus on Asia. The first gathering will be on 13 December at the Centre for Creative Reuse hosted by Bamboo Curtain Studio. The event will gather artists' collectives from 8 countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Malaysia with an afternoon of talks and a workshop concerning artists engaging with environmental issues.

In addition Bamboo Curtain Studio has invited two researchers specialised in environmental sustainability for the cultural sector in Europe; Yasmine OSTENDORF, the initiator of the Green Art Lab Alliance in Europe and Luke RAMSAY, Environmental Sustainability Manager at Julie’s Bicycle. Yasmine has recently collaborated with the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) for the new series Creative Responses to Sustainability (Korea Guide and Singapore Guide), which will be launched later this month.
