culture360 Media Partnership | Oriente Occidente Dance Festival

culture360.ASEF.org is delighted to be the media partner of the 43rd edition of the Oriente Occidente Dance Festival. 

Under the Mediterranean theme, this year’s Oriente Occidente Festival will be in Rovereto, Italy from 2nd to 10th September 2023. 

This year’s festival is a second chapter dedicated to the theme of Mediterranean countries, titled "It’s time, it’s time, it’s time", inspired by the speech of young climate activist, Vanessa Nakate. The title of this edition is a call to action that we are presently living in a season of climate and social emergencies and there is no more time to lose. 

Nearly 40 events in eight days of festival including shows, concerts and conferences with 211 artists of 16 different nationalities will be presented. It will fill the city’s theatres, squares, museums, inviting us to search for that beauty during times of crisis, reminding us of our community and, first of all, our humanity. 

Oriente Occidente tackles the second chapter of Mediterranean by calling to action: the time to move is now and the performing arts strongly affirm it.
