The Asia Writes Project is an independent initiative which aims to be the most comprehensive and up-to-date resource for writers in Asia-Pacific or of Asian origin.

Its mission is to provide writers with legitimate and the most suitable opportunities to publicise their works and keep them abreast of literary events in the region and elsewhere.

Launched in 2010, Asia Writes has a network of the most prominent writers, artists and publishers in/from the Philippines, India, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia and other Asian countries.   It is regularly updated, has a comprehensive directory, a calendar of upcoming deadlines and events and features selected poems and short stories by prominent and emerging Asian/mixed-Asian writers.
