ASEF culture360 is proud to announce a partnership with the Far East Film Festival (FEFF) for the 2nd Edition of the FEFF Campus in Udine, Italy from 22 to 30 April 2016.

In its 18th edition this year, the Far East Film Festival (FEFF) is one of the most important Asian film festivals in Europe. Managed by the Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche (C.E.C.), a cultural association financed by the Italian Government, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, and the Udine Provincial and Municipal Authorities, the 18th edition of FEFF will also organise for the second time since 2015 the FEFF Campus, a training for 8 young journalists from Asia and Europe that will combine education and on-site experience with cultural exchanges between writers from the 2 regions.

The successful candidates selected through an open call, will have the opportunity to experience the festival first-hand while following a rich and varied training programme that will include seminars, interviews and workshops that focus on both the art of film and the art of writing. They will receive guidance from a host of experienced film industry and media professionals, led by film industry veteran Mathew Scott, while contributing to a festival newsletter and embracing all aspects of both the festival as well as the cultural and historic life of Udine and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

ASEF culture360 will support the participation of 4 of the 10 selected candidates, 2 from Asia and 2 from Europe. We will also be at the Campus to meet the journalists and report on this very interesting capacity building programme for Asian and European young journalists.
