5th Mumbai International Literary Festival - Tata Literature Live! - runs October 30 - November 2 in various venues around the city of Mumbai. Over 120 writers, thinkers and performers from all over the world are expected to participate. In just four years, Tata Literature Live!, Mumbai's international literary festival, has grown rapidly to become one of India’s best festivals. Over 120 writers, thinkers and performers from all over the world are expected to participate during its four days at the NCPA’s many theatres — Tata, Experimental, Godrej, Little and the Sunken Garden. Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest has become immensely popular because it looks at literature in a way that complements the spirit of Mumbai: energetic, cosmopolitan and all-inclusive. Check out the list of speakers, coming from India, Asia, Europe and beyond All four verticals of literature are presented: fiction, non-fiction, poetry and plays. And they are presented in a way that appeals to the academic and the lay reader, the bookworm and the occasional browser, the serious writer and the aspiring one. As a natural corollary, performances related to literature — plays, performance poetry, dances based on stories and poetry, story-telling with music — ­ have become an integral part of our festival.
