Letters to Creatives from Faiq Airudin | Navigating Social Media – How to Identify and Deal with Burnout

Though the importance of online communities is undoubtable, it is equally important (and equally difficult) to maintain healthy habits with social media.

In Part 2 of Letters to Creatives from Faiq Airudin, ASEF culture360 explores the reasons and solutions for burnout in creatives. In particular, those who tend to work frequently with social media, potentially blurring the lines between one's personal and professional spaces.

To solve a problem, we first have to understand it. Are you faced with too many choices to be made in a day? Are there useful frameworks set to help you complete your tasks? What lies at the root of burnout?

In order to sustain ourselves, and therefore our communities, Faiq recommends finding rest and inspiration away from our screens, as well as simple but effective habits like setting timers for app usage.
