Interview with Kristin Danielsen at the 10th World Summit on Arts and Culture

As part of ASEF culture360's Arts Journalism Matters: On The Ground Fellowship, Lai Del Rosario interviews Kristin Danielson, who recently concluded her term as the former CEO of Arts and Culture Norway and the Chair of the International Federation of Arts Councils and Cultural Agencies (IFACCA) (May 2023 to August 2025). As the newly minted Director of Nordic Culture Fund, hear Kristin's insights on critical issues raised at the 10th World Summit on Arts and Culture, held this year in Seoul, Korea. With the multitude of urgent concerns facing arts and culture sectors across the globe, Kristin reflects on the heightened importance of multi-lateral cooperation and knowledge exchange.

Drawing on her experiences during and behind-the-scenes of the 10th World Summit on Arts and Culture, Kristin Danielsen shares her highlights from the Summit organised by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Cultural Agencies (IFACCA)

Continuing the 9th World Summit's affirmation of culture as a public good, Kristin emphasises the need for greater multilateral cooperation and exchange to tackle issues cultural isolation and the improvement of cultural rights, particularly for Indigenous communities.
