Ministry of Culture, Romania

The Ministry of Culture of Romania is one of the ministries of the Government of Romania. It is responsible for the implementation of strategies and other policies in the fields of cultural heritage, the arts and the audiovisual sector (in collaboration with the National Audiovisual Council). Since 2016, a stronger emphasis is placed on the development of the cultural and creative sector and the role of digitisation.
