Filmby Aarhus is the center of film and media production in Jutland. The center’s goal is to further advance the development of future media jobs and highlighting the cultural forces through film and media production. It is located at Aarhus Harbour and the building houses two professional and top modern film studios, with associated production facilities.

Filmby Aarhus supports film production through the Den Vestdanske Filmpulje. The goal is to enhance the production of artistically interesting films that enhance the regional production environment. The Den Vestdanske Filmpulje supports productions that attract inward investment, attract, retain, develop talents and create jobs in western Danish region.
