The 4th Call for Entries for the Lumen Prize Exhibition is open. Any artist creating work digitally is eligible for this global digital art award. There is a prize fund worth $10,000 and selected entrants will win a place on the 2015/2016 global tour.

Now in its fourth year, The Lumen Prize Exhibition celebrates the very best art created digitally by artists around the world. Its goal is to celebrate the power and potential of this exciting genre through an annual competition and global tour of works selected by an eminent panel of judges.

lumenprizeArtists may submit work made on electronic devices, such as smart phones, tablets, 3D printers and computers using apps, software or original coding. Each year, the winning works tour the world. Every Lumen show includes a workshop or seminar on digital art and engages with digital artists locally.  As of spring 2015, the Lumen Prize has staged 14 shows around the world, including venues in China, the US, and across Europe.

Entry fee: the cost is $45 for two works, which can be still images, time-based work, animations or films of interactive or site-specific works. Entrants are eligible for a prize fund worth $10,000 and a place on the 2015/2016 global tour. The top 100 works will form the Lumen Online Gallery which opens in August, 2015 for a public vote for the People's Choice Award. Winners will be announced in September at a gala ceremony in Cardiff, Wales.
