France | Horizons Arts-Nature | open call

Deadline: December 17, 2012

The HORIZONS “Arts-Nature” in Sancy event takes place 15 June – 15 September 2013. Proposals from artists worldwide are invited for ephemeral, site specific works to be installed in the natural environment in the heart of the Massif Central in France.

Managed by the Sancy Tourist Office, the call for projects involves the creation of 10 works of art. This event is first and foremost a site specific project which likes to think of itself as long lasting and which involves all the local authorities and players in the tourist trade concerned.

Horizons “Arts-Nature” in Sancy is a contemporary art event of national influence.

Art remuneration: a payment of €8,000 will be given to each selected artist (covering the creation, travel expenses, the transport of materials from the studio to the site, installation of the work, food and accommodation for the artist in the area).

See website for how to apply (in English and French)

Deadline: 17 December 2012
