Young aspiring filmmakers and film enthusiasts from Asia and Europe are invited to express their views on the relations between both regions through their short, up to 3 min films of any type – animation, documentary, fiction, mobile phone video. Short films about Asia and Europe’s connections of the future, through culture, arts, environment, education or individual relationships will compete for international recognition.
Four winners selected by a Jury of renowned filmmakers, and one chosen by special online public voting, will receive valuable prizes. All winners will be flown to Singapore for a two-day hands-on filmmaking workshop at the prestigious NYU Tisch School of the Arts in Singapore. At the Award Ceremony on 17th May 2012, the first place winner will also receive a SGD5000 cash prize.
The deadline for entries is 9 April 2012.
