Visual Documentary Project - call for docs from Southeast Asia

The Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS), Kyoto University is calling for documentaries for the 9th Visual Documentary Project! Documentaries may be submitted by filmmakers from Japan and Southeast Asia.

EXTENDED DEADLINE: Due to many submissions the system is a slow so online submissions page will be open until Sep 2 5pm (JST time).

This year's topic is LOVE in Southeast Asia. We welcome any documentaries that deal with issues relating to love in the region.

Please note due to the ongoing Coronavirus this year's selection will be screened as an online event. CSEAS expresses solidarity with filmmakers in the region during this difficult time.

Eligibility
　・The work must be from a person from Southeast Asia or Japan.
　・The screening time should be within 30 minutes.
