Travel Fellowship | MAD Architects

None

For the third time since 2009, architecture firm MAD is giving opportunities to Chinese architecture students to travel abroad and pick up new cultural insights for their work. 5 students will be able to travel to the destination of their choice for 7-10 days; they will be asked to give a presentation of their journey upon their return.

Requirements:

Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students from mainland China (not graduating in 2011)

To apply:

  • Application letter of 300 words detailing the student's interests in the field of architecture and the ways in which the trip would relate to those interests.

  • 1 or 2 examples of past works that best represent the applicant's approach to architecture.

Submit the required material in A4 PDF format to travel@i-mad.com along with your name, date of birth, gender, college or university, year, and contact information. The file should not exceed 5MB.

The selected fellows will be announced on July 22, 2011.
