Call to Create | global network for young people's creativity

None Call to Create is a global network of creative organisations launched by the Round House in London uniting to harness the power of young people's creativity. Organisations worldwide committed to this work are invited to join.

The call is to support young people in realising  and releasing this creativity. To enable them to use this untapped power to build better futures.

Call to Create will do this by collaboratively facilitating and staging brilliant artistic work by young people, sharing experiences and techniques, and collectively giving a voice to what could be achieved by the realisation of this creativity.

The collective's work will have three strands:

Call to Create Projects
Partner organisations will spark a movement for the creation and distribution of excellent art. From 2012, member organisations will be approached by the Roundhouse to collaborate on Call to Create projects. Members will also be invited to submit proposals for future collaborative projects that offer young people the chance to explore their creativity, and a selection of these will be commissioned in an annual series of Call to Create Projects.

Call to Create Seminar
In 2013, the collective will convene the first Call to Create Seminar, where organisations from all over the world will share their experiences and learning from working with young people in the arts.

Call to Create Festival
From 2014, the first biennial ‘reaction’ - a festival of brilliant artistic work made by young people  - will be staged at the Roundhouse. The first international Call to Create Festival will mark the launch of international collaborations between member organisations.
