New art galleries opening in 2024 in Asia and Europe

Hampi Art Labs, Hampi, India

Opening in February, Hampi Art Labs is aimed at supporting and promoting the region’s craft industry, with regular exhibitions, residencies and workshops. 

Kunstsilo Nordic Art Museum, Kristiansand, Norway

The museum, opening in May, repurposes a 1935 grain silo and will specialise in Nordic modern art.

Saka Museum, Bali, Indonesia

This is a new museum dedicated to the history of the island, Balinese culture and the principle Tri Hita Karana, opening early 2024.

Reinhard Ernst Museum, Wiesbaden, Germany

The museum, near Frankfurt, will open later in the year and will focus on German post-war art, Japanese art, and American Abstract Expressionism.
